I will fight to change the ongoing challenges in the TDSB school system such as:

• Inadequate and dated school curriculum

• Inability to prepare the students for real-life requirements

• Failure in helping students excel in mathematics

• No empathetic education curriculum

• Inefficient transition from elementary school curriculum to the high school curriculum

• Teacher absenteeism

As your trustee I will:

• Re-structure and revise the curriculum

• Table a policy to minimize absenteeism among teaching staff

• Work to limit substitute teachers replacing regular classroom teachers

• Strive to eliminate wastage and redundancy

• Ensure proper allocation of funding based on greater needs

• Make sure that the TDSB hiring processes are of the highest standards
